The Department for Transport back office services, run by Arvato, consist of two Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Mobilise, working with Arvato, moved these services from a physical data centre to a cloud-hosted technology platform, underpinned by Amazon Web Services.
The transition delivered significant cost savings, reducing maintenance costs for its data centres by 45 per cent.
